We're looking for an energetic, community-minded Retail Event Coordinator to join our team in Commerce, CA. This in-store, part-time role is perfect for someone who loves creating local moments that leave a mark - whether that's an in-store event that drives sales or a community gathering that builds lasting connections.
From planning to promotion to execution, you'll bring the 5.11 brand to life through events that engage first responders, outdoor enthusiasts, and everyday adventurers alike. What You'll Do:- Plan and execute in-store and local events that drive traffic, build community, and support store goals.
- Collaborate with store leadership to create monthly and quarterly event calendars.
- Build partnerships with local organizations, public safety teams, and community groups.
- Promote events through local outreach, grassroots marketing, and social media support.
- Coordinate all event logistics - signage, staffing, vendors, supplies, and day-of execution.
- Track performance, capture feedback, and share insights with store and regional leaders.
- Make sure every event delivers a standout experience and stays true to the 5.11 brand.
What You'll Bring:- 2+ years of experience planning and executing successful community or retail events.
- Strong local network and the ability to build partnerships that translate into results.
- Flexible schedule - available to work evenings and weekends based on event needs.
- A self-starter mindset and a genuine passion for connecting with the community.
- Bonus points for retail experience or familiarity with the 5.11 brand and customer.
Pay Range: $25 - $28 per hour
