This is a full-time position within the Maine Mariners Marketing Department. The role of Retail & ECommerce Coordinator is a crucial piece of the Maine Mariners Marketing and Game Day staff, which consists of an energetic team of individuals. The Retail & ECommerce Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Marketing to collaborate on the creation, ordering, storing, and selling of our Maine Mariners Merchandise. The Retail & ECommerce Coordinator will work a typical Monday through Friday work schedule, as well as game days and community events. The Retail & ECommerce Coordinator will help to shape and grow the Maine Mariners brand awareness through merchandise, marketing, and community events. Responsibilities: - Work closely with the Marketing Department on a daily basis to collaborate on campaigns to promote game days and brand awareness
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, track product orders, and ensure that merchandise is well-stocked and organized across all retail locations (in-stadium, online store).
- Product Ordering: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to order products, ensuring timely delivery and competitive pricing.
- Retail Operations: Manage and set up the team store during home games, special events, and at off-site locations, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
- Sales Support: Provide excellent customer service to fans in-store, answering questions, assisting with purchases, and promoting key products.
- Online Store Management: Oversee the online merchandise store, including product listings, promotions, and shipping/fulfillment processes.
- Seasonal Merchandise Launches: Coordinate with marketing to create and launch seasonal collections, promotions, and special edition products that reflect key moments in the team's season.
- Event Planning: Help organize merchandise-related activities at fan events, community outreach programs, and game-day promotions.
- Brand Alignment: Ensure all products, displays, and promotions reflect the team's brand and mission while appealing to fans' interests.
- Reporting: Track sales performance, manage budgets, and report on merchandise sales, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Fan Engagement: Stay connected with fans through social media and other communication channels to gather feedback on merchandise offerings and improve product offerings.
- Assist pre-game as necessary
- Assist in community events as necessary

Qualifications - Highly organized and communicative
- Previous experience in retail, merchandising, or sales coordination, preferably in the sports or entertainment industry.
- A strong understanding of retail operations, product sourcing, and inventory management systems.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Bachelor's Degree Required
