Job Summary
As a Retail Manager, you will lead hospital cafeteria operations, Starbucks, doctor lounges, and catering of the food & nutrition services department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plans and supervises special functions, maintains cash controls, payroll records, and coordinates the hiring and training of our hourly associates
  • Ensures a positive customer experience and good public relations through efficient uses of resources
  • Advises staff to provide scheduled retail services in accordance with company policies and presentation standards
  • Trains staff in customer service, accurate portioning, cashier skills, and safety/sanitation
  • Completes all daily, weekly or monthly reports on a timely basis meeting all prescribed due dates
  • Implements and maintains cash handling standards as outlined in the corporate policies and procedures manual to eliminate theft of services or company funds
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One to three years of retail dining operational foodservice management or supervisory experience
  • Experience in a hospital, senior living, or related healthcare operation
  • Good knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, marketing and presentation
  • P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience
  • Experience with cash retail operations
  • Experience with retail marketing
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to interact with various levels including management, customers, associates, and clients
  • Knowledge of financial, budgetary, accounting and computational practices
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet research
