This position is crucial for the success of our retail operations. As a Retail Customer Service Representative, you will engage with wholesale and retail customers to identify their needs, provide answers to their questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the best solutions. Your role will involve promptly addressing customer concerns, ensuring maximum satisfaction, and staying updated on product features while maintaining high-quality visual standards in the store. You will be expected to deliver outstanding customer service while consistently achieving the store's sales goals.

The individual selected for this role will be required to work at Store , located at: 951 Jefferson Rd Rochester, NY 14623 and may also work at 2407 Monroe Ave, Rochester, NY 14618, as well as other stores within a 30-mile radius.

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone, determining their needs and presenting suitable products.
  • Build trustful relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and in accordance with policies.
  • Achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  • Maintain organized work order files and formulas.
  • Pull appropriate products from sales floor or warehouse.
  • Tint and mix products to meet customer specifications.
  • Stock shelves and set up displays.
  • Clean store equipment and unload delivery trucks.
  • Assist in making deliveries as needed.
  • Keep assigned areas in-stock and presentable.
  • Maintain product knowledge and discuss available options with customers.
  • Comply with inventory control procedures.
  • Suggest improvements for sales.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
  • Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in retail, delivery, or customer service.
  • Previous experience selling paint and paint-related products is a plus.
  • Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
  • Ability to communicate in more than one language is advantageous.
