This role is vital for the success of our retail operations. As a Retail Customer Service Representative, you will engage with wholesale and retail customers to identify their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the best solutions. You will also address any customer concerns promptly, ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction. Staying informed about product features and upholding store quality and visual standards will be part of your responsibilities.

In this role, you will interact with customers, including minors, and may handle cash and payment methods, as well as access personal information and valuable items. Due to this access, a review of criminal history is necessary to safeguard our business operations and protect our customers, employees, and the general public.

The selected candidate will work at Store , located at th Street N Unit 7, Pinellas Park, FL 33781. This is a part-time position offering up to 28 hours per week with a starting salary of $17.00/hour.

What is the Process to Get Started?

  • Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction through outstanding sales service.
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone to understand their needs and present suitable products and services.
  • Build strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
  • Process sales transactions accurately, adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Work towards achieving sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  • Maintain organized work order files and formulas.
  • Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed.
  • Tint and mix products to meet customer specifications.
  • Restock shelves and arrange displays attractively.
  • Keep store equipment clean.
  • Assist with loading/unloading delivery trucks and making deliveries when needed.
  • Maintain a well-stocked and visually appealing assigned area.
  • Stay knowledgeable about products offered and discuss available options with customers.
  • Adhere to inventory control procedures.
  • Suggest strategies for improving sales.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the country without requiring sponsorship.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be willing to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Have a High School diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service roles.
  • Prior experience selling paint and related products.
  • Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in multiple languages, particularly Spanish.
