This role is vital to the success of our retail operations. As a Customer Service Representative, you will engage with wholesale and retail customers to identify their needs, provide answers regarding Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend tailored solutions. You will also be responsible for quickly addressing customer concerns to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction.

Additionally, you will stay informed about product features and uphold the visual standards of our offerings and the store environment. Achieving outstanding customer service while consistently meeting the store's sales targets is key in this position.

Job duties will involve interaction with customers of all ages, including minors, and access to cash and various payment methods, which may be both supervised and unsupervised. To safeguard our operations and uphold our reputation, a review of criminal history is necessary to ensure the safety of customers, staff, vendors, and the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone, understanding their needs and offering suitable products
  • Build trustful relationships with customers
  • Process transactions accurately in line with company policies
  • Achieve sales goals regularly
  • Maintain organized work order files and product formulas
  • Pull and prepare products from stock
  • Tint and mix products as requested
  • Restock shelves and arrange displays
  • Maintain cleanliness of store equipment
  • Assist with delivery logistics when necessary
  • Keep assigned areas stocked and visually appealing
  • Stay informed about product offerings and options
  • Adhere to inventory control policies
  • Propose improvements for sales strategies
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship
  • Possession of a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
  • Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally
  • Willingness to work all scheduled hours including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service
  • Experience in selling paint and related products
  • Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment
  • Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are a plus
