This role is vital to the success of our retail operations. As a Customer Service Representative, you will engage closely with both wholesale and retail clients to understand their needs, answer inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and suggest effective solutions. You will also address any customer concerns promptly to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering exceptional customer service that aligns with our sales objectives.
- Assisting customers both in-person and over the phone.
- Establishing and nurturing productive relationships with our clients.
- Accurately processing sales transactions in line with our policies.
- Meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Maintaining accurate work order files and product formulas.
- Retrieving products from sales floor or warehouse as needed.
- Tinting and mixing products to meet customer specifications.
- Organizing and stocking shelves, as well as setting up attractive displays.
- Cleaning store equipment to maintain a professional environment.
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks, as required.
- Assisting with deliveries when necessary.
- Keeping assigned areas well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Staying knowledgeable about products and discussing options with customers.
- Following inventory control procedures diligently.
- Providing suggestions for improving sales performance.
Requirements for this position include:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
- Legally authorized to work without requiring sponsorship.
- A valid, unrestricted Driver's License is mandatory.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Willingness to work scheduled hours that may include evenings and weekends.
Preferred qualifications that will give you an edge include:
- A High School diploma or GED.
- At least one (1) year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
- Experience selling paint and related products.
- Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
- Ability to communicate in more than one language.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in Spanish.
