Responsibilities: - Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and offering appropriate products and services
- Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers
- Accurate processing of sales transactions in line with policies
- Aim to achieve sales goals monthly, quarterly, and yearly
- Maintain organized work order files and formulas
- Pull products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed
- Tint and mix products to customer specifications
- Stock shelves and arrange displays
- Clean and maintain store equipment
- Load/unload delivery trucks
- Assist with deliveries as required
- Keep assigned areas well-stocked and presentable
- Remain informed about the products offered
- Comply with inventory control procedures
- Suggest ways to improve sales
Minimum Requirements: - Must be at least eighteen (18) years old
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 70 lbs. occasionally
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- If currently employed at Sherwin-Williams, must have met performance expectations and completed all required HR training
Preferred Qualifications: - Valid, unrestricted Driver's License
- High School diploma or GED
- At least one year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role
- Previous experience selling paint and related products
- Experience with tinting and mixing equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages, including Spanish
