Join our team as a Retail Customer Service Representative. You'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers at our location at 5212 University Ave, Cedar Falls, IA 50613. This part-time position offers a starting pay of $16.26/hr, or based on your experience.

In this role, you'll work closely with both wholesale and retail customers, identifying their needs and providing knowledgeable answers about our Sherwin-Williams products. Your goal will be to recommend the right solutions, promptly address customer concerns, and ensure maximum satisfaction. Staying current with product features and maintaining high visual standards in the store will be essential.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Delivering high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
  • Assisting customers both in person and over the phone to determine their needs and present appropriate products and services.
  • Building trust-based relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
  • Processing sales transactions accurately while adhering to company policies.
  • Meeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
  • Maintaining precise work order files and handling products properly.
  • Stocking shelves and setting up displays to enhance product visibility.
  • Performing product tinting and mixing to meet customer specifications.
  • Keeping store equipment clean and well-maintained.
  • Loading and unloading delivery trucks as needed and assisting with deliveries.
  • Ensuring that assigned areas are in-stock and presented well.
  • Remaining knowledgeable about offered products and available options.
  • Complying with inventory control procedures.
  • Suggesting strategies to improve sales performance.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
  • Legally authorized to work in the country without needing sponsorship for a work visa.
  • Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Willing to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
  • Previous experience selling paint and paint-related products.
  • Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
  • Ability to communicate in more than one language, especially Spanish.
