As a Retail Customer Service Associate, you will take on a pivotal role in enhancing the shopping experience for customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure that it is welcoming and well-organized.

Position Type: Full-Time
Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
Starting Wage: $19.50 per hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 - $20.00 Year 3 - $20.50 Year 4 - $20.50 Year 5 - $21.50

Duties and Responsibilities:
You will be expected to execute your duties efficiently, and your responsibilities include:
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and assisting customers during their shopping experience.
  • Processing customer purchases and adhering to cash policies to minimize losses.
  • Performing general cleaning duties and ensuring that merchandise is stocked and displayed neatly.
  • Collaborating effectively with team members and providing constructive feedback to management regarding product issues, inventory, and scanning errors.
  • Participating in regular inventory counts and monitoring inventory accuracy.
  • Following all company policies and procedures diligently, while ensuring the security and confidentiality of all documentation.
  • Completing any additional tasks as assigned by management.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stock and arrange merchandise from receiving areas to shelves.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 45 pounds and manipulate products at various heights.
  • Regularly required to engage in physical activities such as standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking about the store.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
  • A commitment to providing prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Proficiency in operating a cash register with accuracy.
  • Ability to operate equipment safely, such as electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
  • Strong cleaning skills to meet company standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Organization and attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Compliance with state and local regulations for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience:
  • Preferred High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a retail environment is a plus.
  • A combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge is acceptable.
