JOB SUMMARY: This position supports the buying department with the daily responsibilities relating to product management and ecommerce product placement. This is a part-time position with hours varying from 30-34 hours per week.
Job Responsibilities: - Assist with uploading products onto the website, copywriting, and proofreading.
- Work in Photoshop to edit images.
- Responsible for updating related items on product pages.
- Responsible for updating vendor size charts online.
- Assist with the maintenance of website product storage and cleanup.
- Maintain master ecommerce product list in Excel.
- Organize images as it relates to products, tracking and purging.
- Aid in the testing of new website releases.
- Assist the buying department with additional administrative tasks.
- Purchase order entry including: Master SKU creation. Uploading all product UPC's / weights / dimensions.
- Help to manage the sample storage room.
- Position requires additional time as necessary, including nights, weekends, holidays & special events. Required extended home game week hours as well as game day participation.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties and projects as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: - Prior retail or ecommerce experience is preferred.
- Undergraduate degree or technical college degree preferred.
- Must possess proficiency with basic computer programs, including Excel, Word, and Photoshop.
- Previous proofreading and editing experience recommended.
- Excellent communication, written, grammatical and organizational skills.
- Able to multi-task and keep up in a fast-paced work environment.
- Pays close attention to detail especially as it relates to visual merchandising.
- Works well in a team setting as well as on their own with minimal supervision, a self-starter.
- Possesses knowledge of the company's range of products and services.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Physical Demands and Work Environment: - Ability to reach, stoop, and lift on a frequent basis.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently (typically printers and computers).
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time throughout the day.
- Ability to focus on projects for periods of time.
- Operates in a professional office environment.
