Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to oversee our bustling retail facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing effective business plans for the travel center and restaurant operations to meet established standards, achieve sales and profit objectives, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Meeting and exceeding customer expectations
  • Conducting regular meetings with team members
  • Maintaining strong vendor relationships
As the Retail Assistant Manager, you will also be tasked with building, coaching, managing, and developing team members through staffing, interviewing, hiring, and training processes.

Additional responsibilities will encompass:
  • Driving sales performance
  • Managing team dynamics and productivity
  • Tracking inventory levels
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Performing P&L analysis
The starting salary for this role ranges from $41,700 to $60,460 per year.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Retail Assistant Manager position will demonstrate integrity and accountability, alongside exceptional team leadership skills. A flexible work schedule-including nights, days, weekends, and holidays-is essential.

Required qualifications include:
  • 2-3 years of management experience in retail, restaurant, grocery, or a comparable service industry, with a focus on financial outcomes
  • Proven management experience in high-volume retail with P&L accountability
  • Ability to foster and sustain a customer-focused culture
