Job Overview:

As a Retail Assistant Manager, you will play a vital role in elevating the performance of a Leslie's store. Your goal will be to ensure the highest standards of customer service, meet sales targets, and maintain profitability while adhering to operating procedures and merchandising objectives. You will also gain essential skills in training and developing your team, setting the bar for exceptional customer service through your own example.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to understand expectations and procedures for store operations, sales plans, profitability, and expense management (P&L).
  • Conduct water analyses and perform mechanical repairs.
  • Drive both commercial and residential sales while increasing customer visits.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety protocols by the team.
  • Identify and recruit new talent to enhance the team.
  • Create and maintain a welcoming store atmosphere.
  • Assist in merchandising and inventory management.
  • Handle opening and closing responsibilities, including daily bank deposits.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent, or currently enrolled in High School.
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
  • 1 year of customer service or retail experience.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Ability to progress within the succession program.
  • Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency.
  • Willingness to complete required training within two months of hire.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Pay: $16.85 - $18.85 per hour
