Job Description Pilot Flying J is looking for a motivated and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to oversee our bustling retail facilities. In this role, you will implement and execute business plans for the travel center and restaurant to meet established sales, profit objectives, and customer satisfaction goals.
The Retail Assistant Manager responsibilities include:
- Ensuring customer expectations are consistently met
- Conducting team meetings and providing leadership
- Developing and maintaining strong vendor relationships
As a Retail Assistant Manager, you will lead, coach, and develop your team through effective staffing, interviewing, hiring, and training processes.
Key responsibilities also encompass:
- Driving sales growth
- Managing team dynamics and performance
- Tracking and managing inventory
- Providing outstanding customer service
- Performing P&L analysis to inform decisions
Compensation Pay Rates Starting between: $39,400.00 - $57,125.00 / year
Qualifications The ideal candidate will demonstrate integrity and accountability in a managerial capacity, showcasing exceptional leadership abilities. Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.
Additional qualifications include:
- 2-3 years of management experience in retail, restaurant, grocery, or service industries, responsible for financial outcomes
- Proven management experience in a high-volume retail environment with P&L accountability
- Ability to cultivate a customer-focused culture
