Job Description Pilot Flying J is seeking a motivated Retail Assistant Manager to lead our dynamic retail facilities. In this role, you will develop and implement strategies for business growth to meet established sales and profit targets while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
As a Retail Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
- Conducting team meetings to strategize and improve operations.
- Fostering strong relationships with vendors.
In addition, you will be responsible for:
- Driving sales and achieving financial targets.
- Managing and mentoring team members.
- Overseeing inventory management.

Pay Rates Starting Between: $44,100.00 - $63,900.00 / year
Qualifications To succeed as a Retail Assistant Manager, you must exhibit integrity and accountability at the managerial level, alongside outstanding team leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate is flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key requirements include:
- 2-3 years of management experience in retail, restaurant, grocery, or another service industry with financial accountability.
