is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Colonial Group, Inc.POSITION SUMMARY The Account Manager is responsible for supporting dealers and assigned Territory Sales Managers (TSM) to maintain all brand programs, image standards and compliance, and works closely with Retail Sales Analyst (SAR) & Sales Coordinators, supporting accurate record keeping for Retail Division.
JOB EXPECTATIONS/DUTIES - Mystery shop results from branded suppliers - review, appeal, cure, and communication with dealers SCs & assigned TSM. Schedule outside contractors for cures when necessary, assuming TSM and/or Supervisor's approval.
- Build and foster strong relationships with current and potential internal & external customers.
- Support TSMs book of business by involvement with day-to-day operations including delivery, credit card, invoicing, drafting, and pricing issues.
- Facilitate access to ATG systems for any "inventory managed" dealer site (and encourage BTL sites to also provide access) and execute installation of Kii unit if direct ATG access via IP is not available.
- Train all assigned dealers on Telapoint app for fuel delivery status and ordering, and Petronet portal for document access of customer(s) account(s).
- In-person site visit to assigned branded account(s) no less than once per calendar quarter.
- Support Retail Division (when requested) by following up with customers on contract compliance.
- Facilitate access to, train customers on available resources and use of respective branded website portals for assigned accounts.
- Communicate brand requirements, programs, industry news, changes, and/ or communications created by management with internal team and customers.
- Daily PDI upload of unbranded & other pricing.
- Review and manage Co-Op funds and application/use of funds to enhance mystery shop scores, including communicating usage, invoices to submit for claims/reimbursements, and disbursements to SC & Retail Sales Analyst (SAR) for proper handling internally and externally.
- Support that consignment/commission billing efforts & pricing are done on time & accurately.
- Work with dealers to reconcile over/shorts, especially consignment dealers.
- Renewing expiring contracts.
- Lead development for TSM's.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience working with independent dealers is desired.
- Must be able to be on call 24/7/365. Extensive travel and overnight stays are required.
