Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete required training: Zaxbys Assistant Manager Development Plan, Food Safety Certification, and any additional training necessary.
  • Enhance guest experiences by ensuring that team members exceed guest expectations.
  • Ensure team members receive thorough training, coaching, and development.
  • Create effective work schedules in compliance with company standards and local laws.
  • Plan and delegate shift assignments, adjusting as necessary.
  • Supervise and coach team members for optimal performance and to achieve quarterly goals.
  • Maintain service, product quality, and cleanliness standards consistently.
  • Communicate performance concerns to the General Manager.
  • Assist with performance reviews and support team member development.
  • Foster a positive culture and morale through recognition and leading by example.
  • Address and report guest and team member feedback promptly and respectfully.
  • Ensure adherence to processes, policies, and procedures in daily operations.
  • Maintain operational compliance with all Zaxby's franchising guidelines and local laws.
  • Utilize management tools and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform other necessary duties for smooth restaurant operations.
  • Embrace flexibility to exceed the expectations of this position.
  • Ensure team safety and adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Report HR and risk management issues to the General Manager and District Manager immediately.
  • Escalate other concerns to your supervisor when appropriate.
Job Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
  • Open availability and ability to work a minimum of 5 days, totaling 32 to 48 hours per week.
  • Must be flexible with scheduling, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Successful completion of a background check is mandatory.
  • Leadership qualities, strong organizational skills, and collaborative interaction abilities are necessary.
  • 1-3 years of management experience is required; restaurant management experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk continuously.
  • Occasionally bend, stoop, climb, or use ladders.
  • Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Constant use of hands and wrists for grasping and fine manipulation.
  • Communicate proficiently through speech, reading, and writing.
  • Maintain effective audio-visual perception to observe and respond to the environment.
  • Work in varying temperature conditions and exposure to food allergens.
  • Safely operate restaurant equipment, such as knives and fryers.
