About Wilderness Ridge Country Club Wilderness Ridge is the most unique golf course in the state of Nebraska. With its granite, boulder-lined ponds and streams, bent grass fairways, and more than 6,000 trees throughout the 18 hole championship course and 9 hole executive track, it's truly a resort-style golfing experience. Wilderness Ridge also offers a casual restaurant featuring steaks and seafood, as well as private banquet spaces for events of any occasion and size.
A Day in the Life The Server greets and serves food and/or beverages to patrons.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provide immediate attention to all guests upon seating, greet warmly and distribute menus.
- Take guest food and/or drink orders.
- Turn orders into kitchen; inform cooks about any special cooking instructions.
- Serve meal; place dishes by courses in front of each person; serve from left of the person.
- Check back to ensure member/guest satisfaction; replenish water and butter as necessary.
- Suggest and serve dessert, coffee, and after dinner drinks.
- Keep tables and dining room clean and tidy.
- Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur.
- Performs side work, clean-up and closing duties as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications- High school required.
- 1year server experience preferred.
- Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.
- Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
