Responsibilities - Greets and seats guests
- Processes the guests' orders
- Serve drinks, appetizers, meals
- Be attentive to guests' issues and needs
- Keep checking on guest to ensure high quality service, and food
- Restock restaurant (such as folding napkins, rolling silverware, restocking, cleaning, replenishing beverage stations
- Highly developed communication skills
- Adhere to grooming, appearance standards consistently
- Knowing the menu by heart/including features
- Time management skills
- Anticipate the clients' requests (napkins, water on a hot day, the spice rack)
- Keeping calm when faced with difficult situations
- Endurance (servers spend a lot of time on their feet)

Knowledge and Experience - Skills of reading body language to establish when the clients want their order to be taken
- Ability to lift, push and pull required load (usually about 50lbs.)
- Math skills required (basic level)
- At least 1-2 years' experience in serving
- California food handlers' certificate
- RBS- Responsible Beverage Service certification
- Knowledge of Point of Sales System
Position Requirements - Colleagues must be able to work flexible work schedules as needed; including nights and weekends; and Holidays
- Colleagues must be able to rotate shifts as needed.
- Colleagues must be able to be on their feet for 8-12 hours during their shift.
