Michelin-starred Yakitori restaurant in NYC is seeking an upcoming new restaurant Manager in Honolulu, HI.

The ideal candidate can work in NY until the new restaurant is ready to open in Spring/Summer 2025.

Japanese language skill is a must

Job Summary: our client is seeking a dynamic and bilingual (Japanese/English) Restaurant Manager & New Product Coordinator to oversee daily operations and lead new product initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management and a passion for innovation in the food and beverage industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and coordinate the development and launch of new products, working closely with 3rd party vendors and the culinary team.
  • Train and supervise staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage supply chain logistics.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote new products.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English.
