Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Restaurant Manager at Bahnhof WVrsthaus & Biergarten Located at 745 7th Ave Huntington WV.
We are looking for Managers to lead all aspects of our businesses. Our company portfolio houses several venues between Huntington and Charleston WV with a couple of new concepts on the rise. Currently, Gravitas Hospitality umbrellas Bahnhof WVrsthaus & Biergarten, Black Sheep Burrito & Brews, The Loud, and Luna Pizza. A Manager's responsibilities include preserving the restaurant's revenue, profitability and quality goals. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, quality, and customer-service standards. You will deliver a high-quality menu and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service.
To be successful in this role, you will need management skills and experience in both front and back of the house and be an excellent communicator. We want you to know how to oversee the dining room, check-in with customers and balance seating capacity.
Back of the house management experience is also essential, as you'll hire qualified Cooks and Wait Staff, set work schedules, oversee food prep and make sure we comply with health and safety restaurant regulations.
We will expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment.

- Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations.
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
- Familiarity with restaurant management POS software.
- Possess computer skills including Excel, Word and other basic applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
- Regularly review product quality and research new vendors.
- Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products.
- Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations.
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
- Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses.
- Acute financial management skills.
