A Day in the Life as the Restaurant Manager: As the Restaurant Manager, you'll be at the helm of day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth execution across all departments. From managing front- and back-of-house teams to optimizing the guest experience and achieving financial targets, your leadership will help shape the restaurant's success. You'll play a key role in staff development, customer satisfaction, and long-term growth strategy.
Responsibilities Include:- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Recruit, hire, train, and mentor top-performing staff to build a high-energy, customer-focused team
- Drive profitability through effective cost control, labor management, and budget oversight
- Deliver a five-star dining experience by ensuring consistent quality of food and service
- Proactively resolve customer issues and create memorable guest interactions
- Maintain compliance with food safety guidelines, sanitation standards, and local health regulations
- Plan and execute local marketing initiatives and promotions to boost sales and brand visibility
- Manage vendor relationships, order supplies, and minimize food/beverage waste
- Monitor restaurant cleanliness, facility upkeep, and ambiance to uphold brand standards
- Collaborate with senior leadership to set strategic goals and identify growth opportunities
Requirements and Qualifications:- Proven experience in a leadership role within the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Strong financial experience managing budgets, sales data, and cost control
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in food service
- Experience with inventory management, staffing, and performance evaluations
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards
- Bonus if you have experience with marketing a restaurant to a community
- Ability to work Monday-Thursday 12PM-8/9 PM and Friday-Sunday 12PM-11PM and time off as needed
