We are El Gallo Taqueria in Weston.
The general manager is to lead the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. Ensuring that all operations are running smoothly and efficiently, and that the restaurant is providing exceptional guest service. The ideal candidate will be able to master all positions in restaurant, available to come in when needed, inspire others, manage multiple tasks effectively, be aware of all situations happening inside the restaurant.
Qualifications: - Provide great service to all our guests
- Previous experience in food service management
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Able to multitask effectively
- Must be able to work well under pressure
- Financial acumen necessary (labor, food cost, sales, inventory and purchasing)
- Crew relations - must be able to lead diverse group of team members successfully
- Must be available weekends and peak operating days
- Responsible for training new team members
- Responsible for maintenance and cleanliness of the restaurant
- Reports directly to Operations Manager.
- Be Manager Food Certified and have knowledgable for Health Inspections
- Responsible for daily supervision of crew, guest service and liquor law compliance
- Train all standards and policies and is expected to be an example for the rest of the team to help ensure consistency
- Impresses guests with quality and timely service in a pleasant and friendly manner
- Training on Administrative task such as Payroll, Schedules, Invoice log and Daily Shift Reports
- Be able to work with google sheets and google doc
- Ensure all food is being prepared according to restaurant standards
- Master all positions in restaurant to be able to support all positions
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
