Restaurant Assistant Manager Responsibilities:
  • Oversee service quality and dining experiences for our guests. Our goal is to exceed our guest's expectations.
  • Directing the hiring, supervision, and development of our FOH team members.
  • Influence and guide great dining shifts. Set the tone for a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Prepare and conduct pre-shift meetings to efficiently communicate restaurant updates and daily specials. Inspire your team - This is where the fun happens.
  • Ensure all financial and administrative duties are completed according to the company's policies and procedures.
  • Lead by example in enforcing health, safety, and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant.
  • Complying with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
Restaurant Assistant Manager Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of floor management experience in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Ability to work together a s a team.
  • Lead by example and foster a positive and motivated work environment.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Myst be comfortable using a computer and possess data entry and reporting skills.
  • Must be able to move and process information quickly.
  • Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10-12 hours).
  • Must have the stamina to work up to 55 hours per week.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift up to 25lbs.
  • Familiarity with food handling, safety, and compliant restaurant guidelines for Mecklenburg County.
  • High School Diploma (Four Year Degree or Hospitality Degree preferred)
