Clearance: Active Secret Security clearance Job Description:
• Lead a Hardware Engineering team of up to 6 engineers.

• Provide the technical and programmatic leadership for hardware design and support teams.

• Ensure adequate trade studies, architectures, technical analysis, common hardware solutions, quality of products, and proper engineering process and methodology are followed.

• Work with First Line Managers to properly staff programs.

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to lead/interact with a cross functional team. Will interact directly with various internal/external customers to work through technical issues, program planning, and field support.

• Provide Earned Value updates as the program Cost Account Manager for all hardware engineering work packages. Basic Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess a BS and/or MS in an engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Computer Engineering).

• 14+ years of detailed HW development experience.

• CREO Desired skills:

• Possess excellent communication skills and be able to work with minimal day to day supervision.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to comprehend and work successfully with complex systems.

• Lead small groups of teams for technical execution on programs, and ability to work with program/functional management to meet objectives of entire program.

• Cross-Functional or Integrated Product team leadership experience.

• Cost Account management experience.

• Knowledge of Earned Value Management and tracking practices.

• Basis of Estimate (BOE) and proposal experience.
