• Responsibilities: Perform hygiene procedures, educate patients, manage nonsurgical periodontal treatments, maintain patient relationships, document health histories, and assist with restorative treatment planning. Tasks include x-rays, prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, sealants, Arestin, and fluoride.
• Qualifications: Accredited dental hygiene certification, current license, annual required training (OSHA, HIPAA, BLS), and experience with dental software.
