Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide care for patients with breathing disorders and cardiopulmonary problems. This role offers an opportunity to work in various healthcare settings, from clinics to trauma centers.

Responsibilities
Conduct diagnostic tests to evaluate patients' lung capacity
Develop and implement respiratory care plans
Administer therapy and treatments for patients with breathing difficulties
Monitor and record patients' progress
Educate patients on respiratory conditions and treatment plans
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care

Qualifications
Certification or licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
Proficiency in medical terminology related to respiratory therapy
Experience in airway management and critical care settings
Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and interpretation
Familiarity with respiratory therapy in specialized areas such as PICU, geriatrics, and trauma centers
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment

Job Types: Travel healthcare, Contract

Pay: $58.00 - $66.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
