Class Summary
Job Description The Resources and Marketing Coordinator plays a vital role in overseeing the Department's website management, media monitoring, and the creation of engaging graphics and promotional materials. The ideal candidate will leverage data analytics to assess social media performance, Google reviews, and website traffic, providing valuable insights through detailed reports to enhance the department's marketing strategies.
Essential Duties
• Provide support for public relations, media and communications projects.
• Writing & editing.
• Graphic design.
• Prepare and present reports on data analytics.
• Manage department website.
• Community engagement event coordination, including AV set up/breakdown.
• Professionally represent the Office of the Tax Commissioner as needed.
• Manage, analyze, and report on surveys (Website, chat, all surveys from call center and google reviews)
• Website coding. Public Speaking Duties
• Delivery of information to departmental and executive management staff, including the Tax Commissioner, Chief Deputy, and Departmental Directors.

• This job is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule after an initial probationary period and individual approval. Grade
The grade for this position is C41(1). Salary will be dependent on education and experience.
Effective 4/11/2023, this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program. Minimum Qualifications
• Associate's degree in marketing, or a related field, AND
• Five years' experience developing and publicizing community programs; OR
• An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
• Valid driver's license from state of residency. Preferred Qualifications in addition to the above minimum qualifications
• Experience in Data Analytics, website development, and/or graphic design.
• Experience in communications and marketing plans/campaigns.
• Experience using InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Experience managing website and social media content. Physical Requirements of the position
• Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, taking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
• Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move and lift objects.
