Leading residential homebuilder with a strong commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to join their team.
Experience: 5 years in Residential Homebuilding
Base Pay DOE: 70K-125K
Responsibilities:
- Manage the purchasing process for construction materials and supplies.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of materials to job sites.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Analyze and evaluate vendor performance to ensure quality and cost effectiveness.
- Manage and maintain purchasing records and systems.
- Work closely with the construction team to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in residential production homebuilding purchasing.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of construction materials, building codes, and regulations
- Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software.
