What you'll be doing
- Manage the program in a manner consistent with Hope Network's mission, policies, and compliance with standards established by Hope Network, our funders, CARF and all licensing and accreditation standards.
- Interview, hire, train, retain and support direct care team. Responsible for developing and retaining staff through performance reviews, discipline, development activities and formal and informal training in accordance with Hope Network's Employee Handbook.
- Provide leadership to residential staff on clinical, staff and programmatic issues. Hold regular staff meetings and utilize communication log to ensure appropriate flow of information.
- Partner with Program Director to prepare, manage and meet budget goals for home(s) served. Maintain program spending and track monthly financial reports to ensure accuracy.
- Participate and work as backup to support during times of crisis, as part of an on-call rotation or when there is a lack of staff.
- Medication Administration/Health Monitoring
- Cooking/Meal Prep/Dietary Support
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required. Required HS Diploma or GED.
- Flexibility in schedule to allow for on call rotation and staffing needs/coverage. Including the ability to work independently with flexible hours including occasional nights, holiday or weekends to ensure the highest level of care for persons served.
- At least two years of experience in human service area with supervisory responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to select, train, coach and manage a diverse team and hold them accountable to internal and external standards
- Experience working with persons who have disabilities. Experience in a residential setting strongly preferred.
- Meet all requirements of a direct care staff.
- Valid State of Michigan driver's license.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to pass background checks as applicable
- Ability to become certified in CPR/First Aid
- Proficient in the use of computer equipment and Microsoft office
