Our client is seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Coordinator to join their team, a leading residential general contractor. The Project Coordinator will assist in the planning, execution, and completion of residential construction projects by providing essential support to the project management team. This role is key to ensuring the smooth execution of all project phases, from pre-construction to project completion.

Description
Key Responsibilities:Project Support & Coordination:
- Assist the project manager with daily coordination and management of residential construction projects.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring deadlines, quality, and budgetary constraints are met.
- Prepare and track project schedules, deliverables, and milestones, ensuring timely execution.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain and organize all project documentation, including contracts, change orders, submittals, and correspondence.
- Assist with project budgeting, including tracking and reporting on costs, and reconciling expenses.
- Prepare and distribute status reports, project updates, and meeting notes to stakeholders.
Communication & Liaison:
- Act as the main point of contact between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and team members.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, site visits, and communications for all project stakeholders.
- Ensure all parties are informed of project changes, updates, or delays in a timely manner.
Procurement & Scheduling:
- Assist with procurement processes, including sourcing materials, tools, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate the timely delivery of materials and resources to the job site.
- Track and manage project schedules, ensuring resources are available when needed.
Site Support:
- Assist with site inspections and ensure that all work is being performed in compliance with project plans and safety regulations.
- Help maintain quality control on-site, ensuring that work is completed according to specifications and timelines.
- Address on-site issues and provide solutions to resolve construction-related challenges.
Quality Control & Compliance:
- Ensure that all documentation complies with company standards, local building codes, and safety regulations.
- Track project progress and quality of work, ensuring that any discrepancies are addressed promptly.
Other Duties:
- Assist in post-project closeout activities, including final inspections and documentation.
- Provide general administrative support to the project team as needed.
Profile
Qualifications:Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in construction project coordination or related fields, preferably with a residential general contractor.
- Familiarity with residential construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar).
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
