At Six Flags Darien Lake work is FUN. As a Resident Assistant, youll assist associates within our Housing Campus.
Youll also:
- Help create a welcoming, fun, and exciting work experience for Six Flags Darien Lake international associates through a variety of Resident Life roles.
- Explain, support, and enforce all policies and procedures.
- Establish a team environment through role modeling and focusing on Six Flags Darien Lake cornerstones and core values.
- Performs all administrative tasks, such as posting fliers in the building, completing weekly reports, andoffering assistanceas needed.

- Assist the HR team with planning and executing team member events and special projects.
- Operate Shuttle Golf Carts/ Shuttle Vans in order to transport our team members quickly and safely to their destinations.
- Will work closely with our security team to ensure a safe environment for all residents.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- People who love helping others and will support the needs of our guests and associates.
- Good judgement and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Individuals with a passion and excitement about Six Flags Darien Lake.
- Must possess above-average communication skills and be able to read, write and speak the English language effectively.
- Must be able to effectively multi-task and complete assignments in a fast-paced environment, including front-line, managerial, and back-of-house tasks.
- Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Must have a valid Drivers License.
Physical Demands:
- Requires continuous standing, bending, walking, hand/eye coordination, lifting, vision, hearing, and speech.
- Requires frequent kneeling, manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and color definition.
- Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions
- Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift 25lbs consistently and carry it at least 25 feet over various surfaces.
- Must be able to lift and lower 5lbs above shoulder level.
- Must be able to climb a stepladder up to 6ft. in height.
