Unit Description

Southland Casino Hotel, owned and operated by Delaware North, features more than 2200 slot machines, live blackjack, craps, and roulette tables, simulcast wagering, and sportsbook. Our new hotel features 300 luxurious rooms and suites. Southland is located in West Memphis, Arkansas, only a short drive from downtown Memphis, Tennessee.

Responsibilities
  • Answer multi-line telephone, maintaining a professional office environment and professional relations with internal and external customers in accordance with our established customer service program
  • Provide top-notch customer service program
  • Use all available resources to answer questions
  • Create reservations and recognize opportunities to offer packages and additional services
  • Communicate with hotel and resort front desk staff
Qualifications
  • Effective written and oral communication skills, professional telephone etiquette, computer skills including e-mail, spreadsheets, data base activity, and keyboarding
  • Experience handling inbound and outbound calls
  • Ability to clearly communicate using a telephone
  • Customer service exprience required with a love for helping others
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Capacity to work a flexible schedule
  • No high school diploma or GED required
  • Strong phone, listening, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude toward customers at all times
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Adequate vision capabilities
