ROLE SUMMARY:
The Reservationist/Receptionist is a key and important position for the success of the member experience and restaurant. They will serve as the face of the restaurant and provide members with their first impression of the establishment. The ideal candidate possesses a guest first attitude, strong commitment to service, and excellent communication skills. We ask for a willingness to receive and offer direction, be solutions oriented, and encourage a hospitality driven environment. Open availability is preferred.
This is a daytime position
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and escort members to tables in a gracious and professional manner.
- Interact with members and fellow staff members in a polite, courteous, and hospitable manner to ensure all members have an exemplary dining experience.
- Greet and acknowledge VIPs in a professional manner.
- Check members in at the reception counter to uphold all guestlist rules.
- Assist with all member packets, name tags, and LPD menu creations when needed.
- Respond to all reservations and member inquiries during shift.
- Anticipate members' needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency.
- Maintain a proactive approach to solving any member's questions or issues.
- Direct members to the appropriate waiting area and provide status updates.
- Bid farewell to members using their name encouraging them to return to the club.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment.
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department.
- Assist in supervising food servers, bussers, and food runners as it relates to member contact and table information.
- Oversee daily restaurant reservations and pre-assigns seating when necessary.
- Communicate with management regarding special orders, cake orders, special requests, and VIP requests.
- Ensure that all lost items are returned to management.
- Act as a brand ambassador for the company.
- Ensure the compliance of all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, and Health Department.
- Perform all opening and closing duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 1 year experience as a host in a high-volume, fine dining setting.
- Must have excellent time management skills.
- Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be reliable, responsible, and trustworthy.
- Must have high energy, great communication skills, and be able to work as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand during entire shift, often up to 8 hours with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting plates, boxes, and objects up to 30lbs.
- Must have attention to detail and willingness to deliver exceptional customer service.

Pay Range: $27 - $29 per hour
