Position Summary: Sanctuary Reservation Agents are often one of the first points of contact for prospective guests of The Sanctuary. They provide exceptional customer service during each phone call, adhering to Forbes Five Star and AAA Five Diamond standards, and are dedicated to ensuring each guest is best prepared to have a memorable trip. Agents also work with other resort departments to ensure all details of the reservation are executed accurately and completely.
Pay Rate: $21.00 starting rate. Option to transition to base rate plus commission; averaging $45,000 - $65,000 annually
Qualifications: - Previous customer service experience required.
- High school diploma, or equivalent vocational training certificate, required. College degree preferred.
- Friendly, patient, and pleasant telephone voice are all essential.
- Requires excellent attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong typing skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are a must in this role.
- Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Good to excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written
- Must be able to pass a background check.
Expectations & Responsibilities: - Provide friendly, professional and individual service, while adhering to all resort standards for reservations.
- Create and sell a complete stay for the guest, personalized to match each of the guests' interests and desires, while utilizing all of the resort's amenities.
- Provide our guests with information on accommodations and accommodation packages, special events, dining options, recreational activities, golf, and other island happenings.
- Work closely with the Front Desk, Leisure Services, and Concierge Teams to provide our guests with an exceptional experience from arrival to departure.
- Upsell quality levels and view types to guests.
- Make dinner, golf, tennis, nature program, bike and all other reservations for guests at the time of booking, or before arrival, to give the guest the ease of visiting with everything preplanned.
- Possess knowledge of the Forbes Five Star and AAA Five Diamond standards.
- Upholds the core values, and policies and procedures of the resort.
- All other duties, as assigned.
Essential Physical Requirements: - Must be able to lift and carry minimum weight of 25 lbs. across short-medium distances.
- Must be able to work on site due to daily needs of the job requirements.
