Role Specific Tasks


• Assemble coin cell batteries using carbon-based anode materials. Conduct performance testing and analysis of assembled coin cell batteries.


• Maintain accurate records of experiments and results.


• Collaborate with team members to optimize battery performance.


• Ensures data reliability through adherence to quality objectives and develops all method support documentation


• Loads data to the digital lab management system for review by Ph. D. Scientists and Engineers


• Performs methods development work as needed for product development


• Solves analytical problems and leads efforts to introduce new technologies to support the business


• Stewards third party instrument calibrations and performs equipment verifications


• Performs internal calibrations and monitoring SQC charts for quality compliance

Skills and Qualifications


• BS/MS in Chemistry, Science, or Engineering


• Proven experience in assembling coin cell batteries and working with battery anode materials, specifically carbon.


• Strong understanding of battery performance testing and analysis


• Applicants must pass pre-employment testing to be considered


• Ability to learn new techniques as needed


• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions


• Strong problem-solving skills


• Concern for accuracy and precision


• Proficient computer skills


• Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word


• Excellent communication (written/oral) and interpersonal skills
