Research Analyst/Assistant with Security Clearance

Contingent on Contract Award Expected in May/June 2025 Amentum is seeking four talented and experienced Research Analyst/Assistants to support the Program Executive Office, Submarines (PEO Submarines). The Research Analyst/Assistants will formulate/define research and development scope and objectives for assigned projects. Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering Defense systems capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results. Prepare detailed specifications from which research programs will be written. Be responsible for program design, testing, and documentation. You will possess full technical knowledge of all phases of research, application analysis and programming. You have a good understanding of research analysis techniques and the ability to apply them. Required Qualifications: Must have an Active SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a SECRET Clearance. Ability to work independently. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite 365. Able to efficiently use the latest reporting, analysis, and communication technology. Research Analyst/Assistant I additional required qualifications (two positions): Requires a HS diploma (BA/BS preferred); at least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Understanding and technical knowledge of executing all phases of research application analysis and programming. Demonstrated skill with documentation and data collection/organizing. Research Analyst/Assistant II additional required qualifications (two positions): Requires a bachelor's degree. Requires 5-12 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Strong analytical skills for conducting market research and evaluating mission needs. Experience in data collection, trend analysis, and metrics development. Proficiency in assessing the impact of new technologies on program performance and operational readiness. Expertise in qualitative research methods, strategic communication analysis, and risk assessment. HIRING SALARY RANGE: Research Analyst/Assistant I: $61,000 - $82,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
