Job Title:Research Aide

Department:Engineering Biomedical Engineering

Research Technician to assist and communicate with Principal Investigator (PI) and collaborator with research lab experiments focused around development and characterization of a 3D human cell-based lung model and accompanying sample processing/analysis; prepare cell-based experiments; assists with evaluation of tests and procedures; write progress reports and summarizes results; performs additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Required:

High School graduate or Associate Degree required. 0-1 years of relevant experience with cell/tissue culture, biomaterials, 3D cell-based in vitro models, and other lab-based activities. Ability to translate, adapt and apply academic or practical knowledge to research.

Desired:

0-2 years of relevant experience with cell/tissue culture, biomaterials, 3D cell-based in vitro models, and other lab-based activities. Ability to translate, adapt and apply academic or practical knowledge to research.

Additional Information:

The target hiring range for this job profile is $15.00 - $19.71 per hour, paid biweekly. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limit to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
