Position Purpose: The Resale/AR Specialist must believe in, practice and initiate all Green Brick Partners values set forth in an acronym we call HOME. They must be Honest, Objective, Mature and Efficient in how he or she approaches their role at Green Brick Partners. The Resale/AR Specialist facilitates the day-to-day resale administrative and accounting support requirements for a portfolio of Associations. Responsibilities High level of involvement in the creation of best practices, including providing feedback and forward-thinking requirements Creating and refining operation back-office processes as they relate to the current and future state of PPMG Prepare and deliver resale certificates within statutory requirements Daily recording and posting of all checks and payment files Prepare initial welcome letters to new homeowners and set up billing in software Process transfer of ownership and set up new homeowners in CINC software Coordinate townhome insurance requirements with Builder, Lender, and Title Audit townhome building insurance policies to ensure buildings are insured as required Prepare and distribute townhome builder billables New community set up and document management in HomeWiseDocs Filing of closing paperwork and miscellaneous record retention New community lot folder creation Serve as the closing liaison for Title, Mortgage, and Builder teams Resale revenue reconciliation Prepare revenue journal entries and other miscellaneous journal entries as needed Assist with month end close functions and monthly reporting preparation Keep current with Legislative resale laws and regulations Prepare and review collection accounts and serve as a liaison with collection attorney Assist Client Services and Association Portfolio teams during peak times Serve as a back up for Client Services representatives Authority/Budget/Decision Making/Discretion and Independent Judgment Ability: NA Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for 4 hours straight or up to a full 8-hour day; sit for extended periods; kneel and bend at the waist; walk up and down stairs; walk on unlevel terrain; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision ability required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision. Qualifications Education: Associate degree or higher preferred. Industry certifications preferred. Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in resale and accounting administration. Competencies: Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level Knowledge of HomeWiseDocs preferred Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.) Self-motivated, proactive, resourceful, detail-oriented and collaborative Time-critical prioritization skills Ability to handle pressure during peak closing periods We are not taking resumes from recruiters at this time.
