This position provides strategic guidance, mentorship, and support to the team, enabling them to optimize inventory levels and make data-driven decisions. Your expertise in inventory management, analytics, and team leadership will be instrumental in achieving our business objectives.Manage and lead a team of replenishment analysts, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive high performance and professional development.Develop and implement replenishment strategies and policies to optimize inventory levels and ensure product availability across retail channels.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, procurement, and logistics, to align replenishment strategies with overall business goals.Oversee the demand forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and timely adjustments to inventory plans based on market trends, promotions, and seasonality.Analyze sales data, inventory levels, and historical information to identify patterns, insights, and opportunities for process improvement.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory management, including stock turnover, fill rate, and forecast accuracy, and implement corrective actions when necessary.Review and optimize inventory replenishment parameters such as safety stock levels, reorder points, and lead times to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.Foster effective relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient replenishment of products.Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in replenishment and supply chain management, recommending and implementing process improvements and innovative solutions.Prepare and present regular reports and performance updates to senior management, providing insights, recommendations, and data-driven strategies to drive operational excellence.Create a supportive and empowering work environment for your team.Be part of a team that celebrates achievements, promotes teamwork, and recognizes individual contributions.Lead associates in a way that exemplifies the leadership principles taught in Rural King s Thrive Leadership Program.Use discretion and independent judgment in daily decisions while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.Actively participate in learning initiatives offered such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments.Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support to others, assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.Demonstrate behaviors that exemplify Rural King s Values: People First, Integrity, Attitude, Initiative, Teamwork, Accountability, and Continuous Improvement.Perform other duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities YesEssential Qualities for SuccessAt least 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.Proven experience in replenishment analysis or a similar role within the retail industry, with expertise in inventory management and demand forecasting.Proven experience in effectively supervising and leading a diverse team, guiding them toward achieving department goals and objectives. Proficiency in using inventory management software and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) for reporting and insights.Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in inventory management.Proficiency in adapting communication style and tone to effectively interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds and at different levels within the organization. Experience in working with complex data or documents, carefully examining details, and verifying information for completeness or correctness.Adaptable in response to changing priorities, unexpected challenges, and evolving business needs.Strong communication and persuasive skills to negotiate and influence stakeholders at various levels in the organization.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn Oracle Systems.Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate when appropriate.Physical Requirements Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations.Capability to lift 15 pounds periodically.Ability to navigate and access all facilities.Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices.Close vision for computer-related activities.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $99,000 annualized and is bonus eligible. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as relevant geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs.
