REPAIR LAB AID - PART TIME

Functions and Responsibilities
Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Telecommunications or designee, the Repair Lab Aid is responsible for maintaining PCs and peripherals, for troubleshooting and solving hardware & software problems.
Supervisory Role
Oral and written instructions are received from the Associate Director of Telecommunications or designee.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Install and repair computer hardware for PCs and peripherals.
2. Install and repair software for computers and peripherals.
3. Assists staff in the proper use of PCs and peripherals.
4. Prepare and maintains reports of pending and completed work.
5. Perform other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Experience (number of years), Knowledge and/or Abilities
1. Demonstrated experience in computer repair, troubleshooting and end-user support.
2. Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
3. Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
Minimum Education Requirements
Associate's Degree
Licenses and Certifications (including e.g., CPR, first aid, driver's license, etc.)
