What You'll Do: As the Rental Manager, you'll lead the rental department's day-to-day operations, driving profitability and efficiency. You'll handle customer inquiries, manage equipment rentals, and maintain strong relationships with both customers and your team. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that all equipment is well-maintained, operational, and that customer needs are met with outstanding service. Key Responsibilities: Working with the Director of Finance & Administration, the Rental Manager will prepare monthly financial reports and analysis to monitor the department's fiscal performance. Establish processes that support safe and profitable operation. Develop and coordinate effective work schedules for rental department staff to allow for efficient operations and accommodate emergency requests from the staff and customers. Provide weekly equipment utilization reporting to Leadership. Alongside the Director of Operations, the Rental Manager will develop long-term plans for proper equipment utilization. Maintain rental accounting software. Contract administrator for rental agreements, including insurance coverage. Routine evaluation & analysis of rental rates. Oversee all rental activities, including walk-ins, calls, emails. Manager rental equipment inventory, maintenance, and transportation. Lead, coach, and develop the rental department team. Ensure documentation accuracy for all rental and returns. Build and maintain strong customer relationships Enforce safety protocols and lead by example in professionalism and integrity. Collaborate with key personnel, including Store Managers, Service, Sales, & Parts, for smooth operation Supervisory responsibilities: hire, train, and mentor staff; conduct performance reviews and foster team growth; drive department productivity and customer satisfaction WHAT'S REQUIRED? Associate's degree (Bachelor's degree preferred) in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration Strong leadership, sales, customer service, and mechanical experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and relevant CRM systems. Valid Driver's License and ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
