POSITION OVERVIEW:

ProTrain College ( ) is a NC Licensed Proprietary School and a nationally accredited school through the Middle States Association ( Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools) which is a worldwide leader in accreditation and school improvement.

ProTrain is currently recruiting for the position of Instructor-Led Operations and Training Manager. Candidates for this position must have a strong background in training operations and working directly with students and instructors for synchronous learning and in-classroom programs. Individuals must possess outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, detailed oriented as we are dealing with schools and students and our reputation is of the utmost importance. Organizational time management and strategic thinking skills are paramount in successfully managing all accounts, students, instructors and associated externships. The position requires continuous research, multitasking and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, virtually operating environment with a delivery-specific focus on instructor follow-up for quality assurance; and student follow-up for student success and completion. The Instructor-Led Operations and Training Manager must gain a detailed understanding of the ProTrain College business operations and decision-making processes with a keen interest in producing targeted and tangible results through the continuous cultivation of effective and efficient training operations, serving both ProTrain College and its non-credit higher education, non-profit, military, workforce offices, grants, government and corporate clients. Top candidates will be innovative, strong decision-makers with the ability to work independently while being a total team player and be an outstanding facilitator of learning and change both internally and externally to assist in cultivating a professional environment.

This is a full-time, exempt salaried, work-from-home position that can begin immediately. Monitoring instructor-led courses in the evenings and being on-call for instructor issues will be necessary at times. From time-to-time occasional travel to an educational event or workforce office may be needed.

INSTRUCTOR-LED OPERATIONS AND TRAINING MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is responsible for end-to-end training operations and processes in conjunction with the ProTrain College team and organizational partners which bring all training and modalities, assessments, and any applicable externships to fruition for ProTrain students. Individual must be detailed focused and able to offer and implement solutions.

Major priorities and focus on:
•   Live Online and In-Classroom Program Operations
•   Academic Delivery and Scheduling Matrix Experience
•   Instructional Oversight for quality assurance of instructors and instruction
•   Strategic approach to program scheduling and new program additions and stackable skills/courses in various verticals (i.e. allied health; information technology; manufacturing)
•   Education Services Supervision and Leadership Duties associated with the daily tasks of the position:
•   Oversight of instructors, instruction and curriculum
•   Delivery of training to external students
•   Coordination of all aspects for educational programs across live-online and in-classroom formats
•   Maintaining academic quality and student satisfaction with daily monitoring and review of training conducted, as well as student progress and success
•   Managing of instructional personnel (i.e. hiring, scheduling, quality assurance, training, best practices, leading 4 times a year all instructor meeting, invoicing review/approval) Due to process-oriented overlap between the duties of the Instructor-Led Operations and Training Manager and other departments within ProTrain College, development and adherence to synergistic policies paired with quality communication are pivotal to the success of the position and overall satisfaction of ProTrain students, partners and all entities.

This position is responsible for drafting monthly, quarterly, biannual or yearly schedules, both national and private (as needed), for all instructor-led training(in classroom and/or Live Online) offerings, as well as coordination and providing all necessary resources, staffing, supplies and support relevant to the course offerings for partners, instructors and students. The Instructor-Led Operations and Training Manager will be responsible for creating an estimated operational budget by the end of November to have a realistic estimate of required training supplies and the needs of the department.

This position oversees/supervises the Training Assistant delegating and managing responsibilities to maintain a cohesive department. In conjunction with the Training Assistant, the Instructor-Led Operations and Training Manager holds accountability for recruitment, hiring, onboarding and continuous development of all ProTrain faculty to ensure minimum teaching requirements are met and opportunities for continuous faculty engagement and development are provided. Additionally, all contracts and documentation relevant to ProTrain College's 1099 contract instructors are meticulously maintained by the Training Department for ease of use and access. Instructor-Led Operations and Training Manager at a minimum will conduct a quarterly instructor meeting for discussion and professional development.

Instructor-Led Operations and Training Manager supports the COO, Business Development(BD) and Sales Teams in pursuit of new or existing revenue streams through knowledge and explanation of current products and resources, and research of potential new resources, procedures and/or products which may be beneficial to ProTrain College and/or its partners. The position works closely with COO, BD and Sales to nurture current and dormant clients and assist with any research of patterns and past/current leaders in order to promote new business. Training, BD, all team members, trainers, management and Sales are an integral part of ProTrain working together as a team. Drive ProTrain College's brand values and philosophy through all training and development activities. Additionally, this position requires continuous learning and research of workforce and educational trends, changes and requirements to maintain a competitive catalog and add new courses and/or pathways as possible to meet potential needs and demand.
•   Instructor-Led Operations and Training Manager will work with the Chief Information Officer(CIO) and Instructional Designers to develop and maintain up to date and relevant content for all modalities at all times.
•   Implement effective and purposeful training methods with our contract instructor corps.
•   Evaluate organizational performance to ensure that all in class and live online instructor-led training is meeting our standards, our business needs and improving performance of instructors.
•   Assess employees' skills, performance, and productivity for personnel under your charge to identify areas of improvement.
•   Ensure all training curriculum facilitates strategic training objectives based on the organization's goals.
•   Select and manage resources, including working with both internal employees and contract instructors to develop and deliver training.
•   Manage the technologies and technical personnel required to develop, manage, and deliver training.
•   Keep abreast of training trends, developments, and best practices.
•   Will personally monitor live online classes and review recordings for quality assurance ensuring instructors are following proper protocol in regard to teaching, starting/ending class on time, breaks and student engagement.
•   Will monitor certain email accounts in order to respond to students and partners in a timely fashion. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
•   Associate degree in business administration, computer science or closely related field from a regionally or nationally accredited institution of higher learning.
•   Preferred but not required - bachelor's degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution of higher learning.
•   A minimum of 3 years' experience in instructor-led course management (essential).
•   Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
•   Salesforce experience is preferred as training reports must be ran based on training data.
•   Must have experience working in a cloud environment such as Securisync.
•   Ability to scan documents in a paperless environment.
•   Must have reliable home Internet (10MB upload /5MB download minimum).
•   Experience with Moodle or other similar Learning Management Systems.
•   Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
•   Superb track record in developing and executing successful training programs.
•   Critical thinker with innovative problem-solving skills.
•   Familiar with traditional and modern training processes for programs offered in Instructor-Led modalities, both virtually and in-person.
•   Strategic and creative mindset.
