Role Overview Join the
APO team, supporting 50+ network applications (provisioning, DNS/DHCP, email servers, device activation) with
BMC Remedy as the core ticketing system. This
NOC-focused role involves alarm monitoring, troubleshooting, and executing predefined scripts to resolve issues (e.g., disk failures, WebLogic performance).
Key Responsibilities - Remedy Ticketing: Manage and resolve alarms in BMC Remedy, following engineering playbooks.
- Script Execution: Run provided Linux scripts (no development required). Bonus: Ability to spot/troubleshoot script errors (e.g., syntax issues).
- Incident Coordination: Escalate complex issues to engineering teams/vendors; drive resolution assertively.
- Performance Monitoring: Track system metrics (e.g., CPU, disk usage) and report anomalies.
- Process Adherence: Follow step-by-step response protocols (e.g., 1st step resolves 60% of issues).
Must-Have Skills BMC Remedy ITSM (Admin/User expertise)
Linux CLI (Basic commands + script execution)
NOC/Operations Support (Alarm monitoring, ticketing workflows)
