RCM Opportunity Supporting Underwater Unmanned Vehicles
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer with experience in technical writing, maintenance analysis, and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) to support advanced maritime systems, including Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUVs) and Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs). The ideal candidate will be Navy-certified and experienced in applying MIL-STD-3034 and GEIA-STD-0007 standards to develop and manage logistics product data and maintenance documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead systems engineering efforts for maritime platforms, with a focus on UUV/AUV systems.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including maintenance plans, procedures, and system descriptions.
• Conduct Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis to optimize system availability and lifecycle support.
• Perform detailed maintenance analysis to support provisioning, training, and sustainment planning.
• Apply MIL-STD-3034 and GEIA-STD-0007 standards to generate logistics product data and ensure compliance with Navy and DoD requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design engineers, logisticians, and program managers.
• Support Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) planning and execution.
• Interface with Navy stakeholders and ensure alignment with certification and operational requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or logistics engineering in the maritime or defense industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in RCM, maintenance analysis, and technical writing.
• Proficiency with GEIA-STD-0007 and MIL-STD-3034.
• Navy certification or experience working with Navy maintenance and logistics systems.
• Familiarity with UUV/AUV systems or other autonomous maritime platforms.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with XML-based logistics data tools.
• Knowledge of ILS tools and databases (e.g., SLICwave, Windchill, or similar).
• Active DoD security clearance.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
