Reliability Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designs and develops automated monitoring function with key performance and service level indicators; and works to improve system resiliency, performance and efficiency.


• Builds platforms that teams can leverage to accelerate innovation in the areas of reliability, scalability and velocity.


• Provides operational support for Continuous Feedback and Event Analytics platform; and provides operational and release support for on-site and cloud applications.


• Develops infrastructure as Code using Azure Native tools; and assists in validating test results and security of code in lower environments/accounts.


• Deploys code provided by software developers and automates software builds and acceptance tests through CI/CD and infrastructure creation.

WHAT YOULL NEED

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Software Engineering or related field; or equivalent combinations of education and experience.


• Four years hands on experience with software engineering, enterprise operations support, object-oriented programming, and or automation. Hands on experience with computer system support/network administrator experience required.


• Experience with operating and support in cloud, multi-cloud, and on-prem environments required.

WHAT WILL SET YOU APART

• Familiarity with scripting and interpreted languages, such as: Bash, PowerShell, JAVA, JavaScript and Python.


• Working knowledge of MS SQL, MS Azure Suite, ServiceNow, Splunk is a plus.
