We are seeking an experience Release Train Engineer to join our client's Claims Management area. This role involves leading and managing multiple agile teams within specific value streams to deliver high-quality technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Value Stream Management: Oversee work categorized into multiple value streams, each consisting of 3-4 teams (7-9 members per team). In total, manage up to 9 teams within an Agile Release Train (ART).
  • Agile Process Leadership: Lead the Program Increment (PI) Planning process every three months, ensuring seamless coordination between teams. Manage Scrum of Scrums ceremonies and facilitate product syncs with Product Owners (POs).
  • Release Train Engineer (RTE) Duties: Oversee the end-to-end process of PI Planning, working closely with Scrum Masters to manage team capacity during two-week sprints. Collaborate with the product team to align workload and expectations across all teams within the value stream.
  • Continuous Improvement: Utilize KPIs, such as velocity, to drive continuous improvement in the SAFe framework. Ensure transparency of these metrics using tools like Power BI.
  • Tool Management: Use Jira Align and Azure DevOps to manage and track project progress and deliverables.
  • Communication: Establish trust and work effectively with diverse personalities across the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in large organizations, managing multiple agile teams and value streams.
  • Strong understanding and experience with SAFe methodologies.
  • Looking for someone who has made a career as an RTE - not just a Scrum Master looking to step into this role.
  • Proficiency in Jira Align, Azure DevOps, and Power BI.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work remotely and establish trust with team members.
  • Willingness to travel for PI Planning sessions, if necessary.
