Job Number: R Release Manager, Lead The Opportunity: When an organization has multiple moving parts in its processes, it can be difficult to critically examine them. To be more efficient and effective, it needs a business process spe cia list to learn its business or mission end-to-end and provide ways to change for the better. That's why we need you, a lead business process spe cia list who will analyze every aspect of your government customer's operations and give them the steps to improve their process. As a Release Manager ( RM ) , you'll assist Army clients in supporting the business processes and capabilities enabled by Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army ( IPPS-A ) via Agile development and testing methodologies. You'll responsible for RM Activities including, but not limited to, prioritization of IPPS-A Backlog items to support planned and out of cycle Releases. You'll work with the Functional Management Division ( FMD ) leadership to establish and seek approval for Army Level Strategic Priorities and link Army Strategic Priorities to Epics and Features to support the Program Top 50 priorities for use by the PMO and SI in support of Innovation and Planning events. You'll provide input, manage, and update backlog items in Azure DevOps ( ADO ) Tool used by the program as the authoritative source for management of Defects, Requirements, Engineering Change Requests ( ECR ) , Testing, and Release Content. You'll support Program Testing Review Boards ( TRB ) and Defect Review Boards ( DRB ) to ensure proper adjudication of Defects, ECRs, Test Incident Reports ( TIRs ) , and Service Requests. You'll represent client leads as necessary during daily synchronization meetings with FMD teams. You'll support team and programmatic level metrics that will provide leadership the necessary information to make informed decisions. You'll also support sustainment activities by continually evaluating functional system capabilities required to support auditability goals, new compliance requirements, and continuous business process improvements. 8+ years of experience planning and managing complex tasks
8+ years of experience leading large, multi-functional delivery teams with clients as a functional and technical consult ant
8+ years of experience in Army personnel and pay operations
3+ years of experience supporting s of tware development using Agile Methodologies
Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
