Release / Deployment Manager with Security Clearance

Pay Rate: $46.45
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required) and 4-8 years relevant experience. A master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and 2-6 years of relevant experience is a plus but not always required.
5+ years of experience in release management, software development, or IT operations.
3+ years of experience managing enterprise software releases in a multi-team, multi-vendor, or cloud-based environment.
Strong understanding of release management best practices, Agile methodologies, and DevOps principles.
Experience working in ITIL-driven environments with knowledge of Change, Incident, and Problem Management.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, version control systems, and deployment automation. Project & Stakeholder Management Skills:
Excellent communication & coordination skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business leaders.
Strong problem-solving and risk assessment abilities to identify deployment risks and develop mitigation plans.
Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, Microsoft Project) for tracking releases.
Ability to manage multiple releases across different teams while ensuring alignment with business priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with the ITIL 3 or 4 Framework.
A self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose patch-related issues.
Excellent documentation skills to track test cases, patch deployment results, and remediation steps.
Collaboration & Communication to work with DevOps, security, and IT operations teams on patch validation.
