Summary

The Psychological Assistant collaborates with the patient, patients family and the health care team to conduct patient assessment, counseling, group therapy, crisis intervention, case management and discharge planning/referral. Administers, scores, develops interpretations of psychological tests under the supervision of a licensed Clinical Psychologist

Masters degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology or educational psychology required. Current Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP) license and registration as a Psychological Assistant required. Minimum of two (2) years experience working with mental health populations in conducting supervised psychological evaluations and therapy required.
